Im pretty chaotic myself which is why I enjoy photographing families the most.
I don’t do posed perfection and i’m certainly not gonna suggest denim jeans, white buttons ups, hands on hips and smile at me!
Unless you want that, then thats cool too.
My family sessions are naturally unposed, playful and showcase your crazy real life.
My goal is to help you remember the tiny things, the little quirks and the fun things that make your family yours.
We will probably leave the session with a full heart, sweat on our face and hey if you’re lucky, maybe you will take away a new dance move from me ;)

Who will pick out the location?
Whatever you want, we will find a spot that fits your vibe. Whether its an urban setting, woodsy, mountains or the beach, i’m willing to travel and love finding new areas to explore.
I will help you decide + will always trust your vision!
We might be awkward?
Yeah thats what we all say. Good thing for you, awkward is actually my middle name & I wear it really well. Being in front of the camera can actually be really stressful, intimidating and difficult. I totally get it. I will promt you with direction that feels natural and playful. You need to take it slow and have some time? You got it. I will give direction and guidance wherever its needed. The ultimate goal is for you to warm up feel comfortable and showcase who you really are. Nerves will go away, i promise you that.
What if I don’t know what to wear?
Team comfort all the way! Photos are always so much more enjoyable when you feel comfortable and confident in your outfit. Don’t wear something you normally wouldn’t.
Earthy tones, not a ton of pattern. I will give my opinion whenever its wanted.
How do we make the session fun?
You forget about perfection and you let real life take over. You bring skateboards and scooters and do all the things you normally would. We can make pancakes at home or have dance parties in parking garages.
How will I receive my photos?
My goal is to return photos within 10 days of our shoot. You will receive an online gallery with all printing rights. The photos will be easy to download and the link can be sent out to family and friends.
I don’t think my kids will behave.
Welp. I know that all too well. Dont you worry. Im a mom that understands. Like really understands. We will take our time warming up to each other. Im not above busting out their favorite songs, and snacks. The guards will come down and we will create magic. Trust the process. It works ;)
